Airframe

We are privileged to be able to offer N400MF for sale.

Currently located in Aurora, Oregon. This renowned example of the type has an impressive recent history of care, operation and maintenance with proactive operators such as "Missionary Flights" and "Golden Era Aviation"

Impressively organized library of maintenance records.

She just made the 11 hour delivery flight to Oregon and arrived without a single sqwark.

Many experienced operators prefer the Curtis Wright 1820 powered examples saying they exhibit superior handling qualities and are lighter than the Pratt and Whitney powered machines.

This example was originally built as a late war C-47 in 1944 - she was transferred to the US Navy and converted to R4D (with the 1820's being installed at that time).

Currently Operated under part 91 with an STC to limit max payload to less then 6,000 lbs.

This aircraft is truly remarkable and is entirely airworthy at this time. Fly her home (East Coast or West Coast)

Interior / Exterior

18 Passenger Combi Interior - with much interior work recently been accomplished (many of the cabin seats recovered and a removable galley installed.) This comfortable combination passenger / freight interior (with cargo door / airstair door / jump door installations) surely means this ship can fulfill any mission you could imagine.
