Multi Engine Piston Piper Seminole Series
The multi engine piston Piper PA-44 Seminole is an American twin engine light aircraft. The Seminole has the capacity for one crew member and three passengers. The empty weight is 2360 lb (1070 kg) and the maximum takeoff weight is 3800 lb (1723 kg). The first aircraft were powered by two 180 hp Lycoming O-360-E1A6D engines. Models produced later were powered by two Lycoming O-360-A1H6 engines. The Turbo Seminole featured two turbocharged 180 hp Lycoming TO-360-E1A6D engines. The cruise speed is 155 knots and the maximum speed is 202 knots. The Seminole is a development of the Piper Cherokee.
