The Aeronca Model 7 Champion is a single engine, two seat, fixed conventional landing gear aircraft. Commonly known as the Champ the airplane entered into production in 1945. The fuselage and tail surfaces are constructed of welded metal tubing. The fuselage's outer shape is created by a combination of wooden formers and longerons covered with fabric.
