Exceptional craftsmanship went into this Grand Champion. This was a multi year, Father - Son restoration...rebuilding every piece of the airplane. Recovered in 1999 with Ceconite!

Airframe

You don't wind up with an Oshkosh Grand Champion by cutting corners. The entire airframe was Disassembled and Rebuilt...Spinner to Tail. 

5 year restoration completed in 1988. Looks like it did then!

Recovered in 1999 in Ceconite and finished in Dupont Chroma One.

All Steel was sandblasted and painted with Rand O Plate Primer.
