Cessna 172 Series
Hailed as the most successful aircraft in existence, the Cessna 172 is truly the reference standard that all others must measure against. Over 43,000 units have been produced since the model took to the skies in 1956 with more being made each year as demand for the aircraft remains steady to this day. Modern versions are equipped with the 180 horse power Lycoming IO-360-L2A, allowing the 172 to cruise comfortably at 124 knots with ranges averaging around 500 nautical miles.
