Completely restored, beautiful Czech Air Force L-29R with only 181 hours on the M-701 engine since its first and only overhaul, and only 845 original hours on the airframe. This R-model was never a trainer, and has integrated belly pod and fuel tip tanks which hold an extra 52 gallons each. Equipped with US O2 and G suit connectors, operational gun sight, ILS/Localizer, dual VHF and US intercom. Sale includes more than $50K in parts and OEM support equipment which includes, among other items an OEM Tail stand, M-701 engine stand, canopy & ejection seat stand, wing stands, hydraulic mule, 2x sets of complete OEM aircraft covers plus Bruce's custom canopy cover, original new Czech Air Force L-29 Tool Kit and all other specialty tools. Spare L-29 parts list is too lengthy to mention but includes a dozen brand new tires and tubes, brakes, fuel and hyd filters, N2 bottles, fire bottle, hydraulic bottles, US O2 regulators, start boxes, gen control units, valves, pumps, and every other conceivable widget needed to maintain this aircraft for years to come. This aircraft flies regularly, has a current condition inspection and can be ferried to any location. It is the finest M-701 powered L-29 flying today.

Only 845 original hours on the airframe. Includes attached original camera/recon pod. Nitrogen servicing port was modified with a standard US shrader valve to accept standard US hose fittings. Canopy seals and cabin pressurization system work perfectly. Brake pressure holds throughout the flight. Cabin heating and air conditioning are fully functional. All original OEM logbooks and manuals are included. Gray 2-tone camouflage looks amazing and is is 8/10.
Only 181 hours on this M-701 engine since its one factory overhaul with more than 800 hours remaining. Original logbooks and manuals are included. Engine starts and runs flawlessly. Temperatures are perfect and complete records or annual engine run parameters have been maintained.
Fully restored and painted, 10/10. Ejection seats are cold but cartridges are available. Includes two new Strong parachutes purchased in 2020.
