Detailed Description

This was my uncles airplane. I transferred it to a local airport during COVID and used the aircraft to get my IFR certification. It has been flown regularly since 2020.
We had an agreement that I took care of insurance, storage, and maintenance and I could use it.

Unfortunately, my uncle passed away and his heirs want to sell the plane.
I would purchase it, but my family of 5 no longer wants to squeeze into this plane, so I'm looking to upgrade to a larger aircraft.
It had hail damage about 20 years ago and was updated with LoPresti cowling and a nice paint job.
Speed Brakes, WAAS capable, ADS-B out in tail, etc.
Always stored inside.
I will miss this plane. 9-10gph at 150kts is better fuel mileage than my pickup.

The engine is over TBO, but compressions were all in the mid 70's at the last annual.
Last annual was April 2023 and at that time the total time 4741.7 and tach Time 2019.9.
I put approx 25 hours on it over the last year, but am in training for a Malibu, so it hasn't been flown since April 2024.

Avionics / Equipment

Garmin 430
S-Tec 55X autopilot (flys approaches)
Garmin G5 for primary attitude indicator

Airframe

Speed Brakes
LoPresti Cowling installed in 2006
UAvionix ADS-B out in tail light
single piece front windshield

Engines / Mods / Prop

1999, the engine was removed and repaired at 905 hours and the tach was reset at this time.
Total engine time is approx 2950 hours, but we have taken good care of the engine.
Compressions at last annual were 71, 74, 75, 74.

Interior / Exterior

repainted the yolks last year.
No tears in interior, but shows signs of wear. 6/10.

Remarks

The engine and prop are technically due for overhaul, but the compressions and engine function continue to be above expectations, so we just keep flying it.
Goes to show if you take proper care of the engines they can go for way longer than expected.
