    Detailed Description

1975 Bellanca Decathlon with new metal wings. AEIO 320 Engine, 150 HP, Constant Speed. Low time 1068 TT 166 SMOH. Great airplane that is loads of fun to fly. Excellent aircraft for beginner aerobatics (has a G meter). +6, -5 G rated.

    Avionics / Equipment

    Pretty old school stuff.
    Not ADS-B in/out equipped.
    Transponder INOP

    Airframe

Has new wings with a forward and aft metal spare manufactured by American Champion, 2016. Check out American Champions website for details on the replacement wings. It was an expensive fix, but the right one. The old wings were replaced by the NEW manufactured ACA wings because of a lateral crack discovered on the left forward spare on the OLD (1975) wings.

Ailerons and struts are original to the aircraft.
No balanced ailerons (AD does not apply).
    Aileron spades.
New Scotts tailwheel less than 50 hours on it.

    Engines / Mods / Prop

Lycoming AEIO-320 150 HP Constant Speed Prop.
    Inverted oil and fuel system.

    Interior / Exterior

Interior is original. Dated but functional. The exterior has original paint and fabric on the fuselage showing some wear but still has a lot of life left. Always hangared and never left in the sun before or after flights.

    Remarks

Miscellaneous parts included if you are interested. (mainly from the old wings i.e. fuel tanks).
    Fresh annual included in sale.

I am 220 lbs. I taught several students how to fly a tailwheel in this aircraft. With the fuel tanks half full, there is plenty of useful load. The fuel tank capacity is 40 gal. total (20 gal. a side) and burns about 9 gal. an hour.
