Condition:
A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are original, complete, well organized and legible. The aircraft does have some airframe damage resulting from an incident which occurred in the mid-1980s. The aircraft was making a landing at the south rim of the Grand Canyon in the winter, and the pilot failed to maintain control during a crosswind landing, putting the airplane into a snowbank. There was damage to the left wing and left side of the aircraft as well as the nose gear. Repairs were professionally performed and documented. See logbooks.

Message From the Owner:
N4852G was one of the aircraft that I flight instructed in at Boeing Field back in 1990. I moved on to flying freight, then a commuter airline, and then a 28 year pilot career at Alaska Airlines. One of my best friends from the flight school choose not to pursue a career in aviation, but instead ended up purchasing N4852G for his personal use. He took exceptional care of the aircraft... always keeping it hangered, having a beautiful paint scheme applied, along with a matching interior. He was adamant and fastidious with aircraft maintenance (performing very frequent oil changes, etc.) and this is evidenced by the current compression test results. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, he had to sell the aircraft. I purchased it, and have enjoyed it for a few years. It is my hope that this airplane moves on to a new owner and will continue to provide the enjoyment, excitement, and fulfillment of aviation that it has done so richly in the past.
