The Dornier Do 27 is a German STOL utility aircraft post-WW2. The aircraft was appreciated for its relatively wide, comfortable cabin and excellent short-field performance. Produced in 1958 for the German Army as a battlefield liaison aircraft, it came to Canada in 1981 via the Portuguese military, was preserved for years, and restored in 2012 with U.S. Registry. 2893 TT (04/2024), engine 692 SMOH, only flown under 50 hours since rebuilt, always hungered.
