Detailed Description

This is a great, efficient, beautiful 200 mph airplane. It was meticulously built by professional pilots and flown by professional pilots. I enjoyed flying it throughout the United States. In 2008 our three-way partnership dissolved, and I became 100% owner. I separated the wing and fuselage and brought them home to safely store in my heated shop. The airplane was certified for IFR flight. Total time on the airframe and engine is 1100 hours. All the log books and builder manuals are included along with other miscellaneous items such as jacks, jack stands, jack pads, 18 inch wing extensions, etc. I also have a Glasair Super 2S RG fuselage kit. My intentions were to upgrade the existing aircraft (all Glasairs use the same wing) to a Super 2S RG aircraft and install a modern EFIS instrument panel. If you are interested, I will include the kit for $5,000.00 or I will market it separately. The fuselage and wing are on sturdy dollies (see pictures) that can be loaded onto a truck or car hauler trailer. The aircraft is located in Renton, WA. Asking price is $89,500.00.

At one point I bought a Glasair Super 2S RG fuselage kit (serial #2380) so that I could upgrade my aircraft to a Super 2S. The existing wing fits all Glasair models.  The kit is $5,000.00 extra or I will market it separately. Aircraft has always been kept indoors.
