Detailed Description

1950 Cream Puff Cessna 170A owned and hangared by the same couple since 1997. Complete logs and meticulous maintenance. Fresh Annual (11/2023) with oil analysis and TXP certification (10/2023). Original C145 Engine updated with a REMAN Continental 0300A and cylinders replaced with Superior Cylinders at Overhaul. Many airframe updates and pristine glass, paint, and interior. Garmin GPS/COMM and ADS-B. This aircraft reflects pride of ownership and has been maintained by the same A&P IA mechanic since 1997. No known damage history, hail, or corrosion . Aircraft based at KLVJ (Houston TX area).

Airframe

1950 Cessna 170A, 4795 TT. Same owner and always hangared since 1997. One piece 3/8" windshield, both side windows replaced and both hinged. All glass is in great condition.Scott 3400 Tail Wheel. Cleveland Wheel and Brakes.  Wingtip strobes. Hat rack and glove box. 
Solid Axles. New Concorde RG-25XC sealed battery in Feb 24.
Wheel fairings. (Not on aircraft at this time) 
No hail damage, no known damage history, or corrosion .
Complete logbooks. Annual not due until 11/2024.

Engines / Mods / Prop

Continental 0300-A, remanufactured 11/1967 replaced  original C-145, and has 2536 TT and 1400 SMOH.  All cylinders replaced on last Overhaul with new Superior cylinders. Engine accessories include Oil Filter, Brackett Air Filter, New Mags with less than 50 hrs TT, recent MA3SPA carb repair, 60 AMP Alternator, and a Zeftronics Alternator Controller.

Compressions: #1=72/80, #2=78/80, #3=70/80, #4=72/80, #5=72/80, #6=75/80.
Oil analysis done on annual inspection.

McCauley Prop has 242 SPOH. Chrome spinner.

Interior / Exterior

Pristine cosmetics with great colors and paint scheme. Aircraft has been hangared since purchased in 1997 by the current owner.      
Interior replaced in 2004 with leather and modern style seats. All materials certified. Rated 9.5.

Exterior painted in 2016 and rated 9.5. Red and White with black stripe. N Number in letterbox style.

Panel updated with modern styling. This aircraft shows very well and reflects pride of ownership.
