Logs since new.
No Damage, plane taken apart and shipped back to Arizona from Hawaii in 2016. NO Corrosion
or rust. Engine was pickled with heavy corrosion resistant oil. We bought it from the owner that
sent it to AZ to freshen it up but the shop had issues and shut down so we took it from there.
Reinstalled the wings, ailerons, flaps, fairings etc. Installed new o-rings/packing in nose gear
strut. Reinstalled the interior and new side glass including observer window and doors. Rigged
control surfaces and set cable tensions and safety wired. Lubed all moving control parts, pullies,
turnbuckles, bell cranks, hinges etc. Greased wheel bearings and installed new brake pads on left
and right main and bleed brakes. Installed new spark plugs and timed left and right mags.
Drained the preservative oil and serviced engine with oil and filter and pre oiled engine as well.
Ran engine March 22, 2024 and set idle speed and idle mixture. Cycled Propeller and did a Mag
check at 1700 and checked good. Did a full power run up and engine produced good power to
max rpm limit static. Checked radio's and functioned properly. Fuel tanks checked and proper
function as well as boost pump and transfer pumps. Turn coordinator was a little loud but
worked properly. Alternator was charging the system properly.
Heavy Duty Struts are installed. New strut fairings installed.
Interior looks good, seats, sidewalls and headliner.
New Side windows/door glass. Observer Window.
Approved on Aqua 2200 Floats
Paint is plain but looks fairly new. Could use a stripe down the side.
Nav lights, landing light, stall light and pitot heat work
Will install 4 new cylinders for $10,000 or overhaul engine for $35,000
