Airframe
The Fuselage is made out of Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) and is semi monocoque molded construction. The fire protection on the firewall is made of special fire-resistant matting and that covers the engine side by stainless steel cladding. The DA40 is a four-seat low-wing cantilever monoplane made from composite materials. It has a fixed tricycle landing gear and a T-tail. The gliding capability is amazing and unapparelled and can keep everyone safe with the top safety record in the industry. DA40 have a twin wing spar design to allow the fuel to be placed in separate aluminum fuel tanks located between the massive and protective spars. Upgraded Landing Gear for greater useful load.
