    Detailed Description

    Fantastic & well-maintained 1978 Tomahawk with 125hp STC plus Madras Droop wingtips. 32 Gallons of fuel (30 usable), cruise at 105 to 110 knots, great visibility,  and roomy cabin (42" wide) with up to 100lbs baggage! Privately owned last 13 years combined by current and previous owner! Not a flight school plane, this is my personal plane and I fly it often. Multiple times a week if the weather is good. Comes with a canopy cover and cowl plugs.

    Engines / Mods / Prop

    This Tomahawk has the 125hp STC. The engine is a Lycoming O-235-L2C that normally is 115hp, this STC increases the hp to 125. I see the performance in the climb, and is great for high DA days at near-max weight.  563 SMOH.  Prop has been well maintained. Dynamic balancing last year. All times as of annual, times will change as I fly often.

    Interior / Exterior

    Interior is in great condition and shows well. Uniform coloring on plastic panels, no mismatched color panels. Panels maintained and repaired over the years. Only a few cracks. Seats are original and in great shape, no rips, pilot seat has one small hole at lower left back of seat near floor.  Newer carpet and in good condition. Glass all around is in good shape. Leather yoke cover installed two years ago. Glare shield is in great condition and shows very well.  Overall interior is 8/10
    Exterior paint is orginal from 1978 and has some flaking on tail region and top and front of both wings. Paint is servicable and overall plane shows well. 5/10 exterior paint.

    The Piper Tomahawk has more cockpit room width and height than a Cessna 150 or 152 and in my opinion more sporty, and a much better value, especially with the 125hp STC.
