    Detailed Description

    Airframe 4160
    Engine 375 SMOH (02Feb2019)
    Prop 275 SPOH (15Feb2021)
Based and Hangared @ John C. Tune (KJWN) in Nashville, TN

1987 Turbo Saratoga SP, Serial #3229003 (Last one built in the 1980-87 Series). Very nice and very clean with an extensive recent inspection and maintenance by Bartelt Aviation in Sturgis, MI. Recent engine (2019) and prop (2021) overhaul, beautiful paint and interior, excellent windows and updated Garmin avionics. Exported to Europe in 1994 by Bartelt Aviation and imported back to the US by Bartelt in 2021. They re-registered the plane with the original N number (N9123X). Impressive documentation. Will make logbooks available via Dropbox link.

Sold new by Skytech and based in the upper Midwest until ferried to the UK (England) in 1994. Remained US registered in the UK until 2016. The plane was sold in 2016 and registered in the UK as "2-Jefs". Ferried back to the US in November 2021. I have pilot's logbook documenting the flight from London to Sturgis, MI (Bartelt Aviation). The owner spent over $116,000 with Bartelt. They sold the plane at the end of 2022 to a gentleman in Nebraska. He flew it approximately 180 hours in 12 months and loved it, but he wanted a Malibu. I had a 1986 Malibu and was ready move down, so we traded in December. I would love to keep the Saratoga, but I don't have the trips to justify it. I may consider a 4 place, 2 place or partner, but will likely sell.

    REPAIR HISTORY
The airframe log has an entry on 10Nov1989, tach 412, "Replaced both lower main struts due to bent axles, inspected for damage from hard landing, found none."

Right wing was repaired in England on 21Oct2018 (tach 3781.0). No description of reason. Bartelt received the plane at the end of 2021. They had the wing inspected and further repaired by Airframe Components by Williams, a premier certified repair station in Kendallville, IN (great documentation). Will provide access to digitized logs via Dropbox.

I purchased a Title Search, Airframe Aircraft Record, Accident/Incident Report from Aerospace Reports in December 2023. There are no liens, incidents or damage history recorded. I will share the file via Dropbox.

May consider a partner in Nashville or trading for a 4 or 2 place of less value. I haven't been without a plane for 29 years.
