Zlin aircraft is manufactured by Moravan Otrokovice, a Czech aircraft company. The company is based on the outskirts of Otrokovice at the Otrokovice Airfield. The company was founded in 1934 to produce training and aerobatic aircraft. After 2004, the company hit a downfall from being forced to compete in the international market. An Irish company purchased the failing Moravan and continues to manufacture the Zlin line.
