Detailed Description

Magnificently restored PT-6A powered Grumman Goose converted by McKinnon in 1968.  This Super Goose was fully restored and upgraded to McKinnon G21G configuration in 2020. 200+ knots TAS, 5 hours duration, and 5,200 lbs. of useful load. This underwent a major rebuild and upgrade of all systems entailing over 30,000 man hours.  This Goose is a true adventure aircraft - it has been used it to explore the Aleutian Islands, the Bahamas, Greenland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands in just the last three years.

McKinnon G21G Configuration
This aircraft underwent a complete restoration and upgrade from 2010 to 2020, entailing over 30,000 manhours of labor. The airframe was completely stripped, and any damage was repaired by replacing the skins and/or underlying structure. Using original McKinnon engineering drawings, the airframe was upgraded to the 12,500 lb G21G configuration via STC
