Single Engine Piston Van's RV-6 Aircraft Information
The Vans RV-6 and the RV-6A are homebuilt single-engine, two-seat, low-wing aircraft kits. The RV-6 is the first RV model to offer side-by-side seating and the nose wheel option, the RV-6A. The empty weight of the aircraft is 965 lbs (437 kg) and the maximum takeoff weight is 1,600 lbs (724 kg). The maximum speed is 210 mph (340 km/h) and the range for the RV-6 is 720 miles (1,166 km). The RV-6 uses one Lycoming O-320 or O-360 engine.
