The American Champion Citabria line features single engine lightweight, two seat fixed landing gear aircraft. The name comes from the ability of the plane to withstand aerobatic stresses. Citabria is airbatic spelled backward. The main uses are flight training and personal use though they can be used as glider tow planes. The Citabria is based on the American Champion 7 Series Champ.
