1988 EAA Oshkosh Grand Champion Classic Award Winner! You can't buy the Lycoming O-235-C1 and prop new for what the whole airplane will cost you! Exceptional craftsmanship went into this Grand Champion. This was a multi year, Father - Son restoration...rebuilding every piece of the airplane. Recovered in 1999 with Ceconite!
Don't miss the opportunity to buy a Clipper at a fraction of the cost to build it today.
Avionics / Equipment
Oh remember the days of strolling along the country side looking down at the patchwork quilt put together by Mother Nature? The un-impeded sound of the engine turning money into gas, gas into noise, and noise into memories. Well...no avionics to disrupt the primitive elegance of N5250H.
As it was from the factory...perfect!
Airframe
You don't wind up with an Oshkosh Grand Champion by cutting corners. The entire airframe was Disassembled and Rebuilt...Spinner to Tail.
5 year restoration completed in 1988. Looks like it did then!
Recovered in 1999 in Ceconite and finished in Dupont Chroma One.
All Steel was sandblasted and painted with Rand O Plate Primer.
