    Antique Stinson 108-3

The Stinson 108 is a post war civilian aircraft. The 108 has a fabric-covered fuselage, partial leading edge slot on the wings, and ailerons aligned with the trailing edge to reduce stall. The aircraft seats three passengers with one crew member. The variations differ slightly by mostly design changes. The 108 does not have a right side cargo door on the rear fuselage, while the 108-1 does have the door. The 108-2 uses a 165 hp engine instead of the 150 hp engine of the previous models. It also features an inflight adjustable rudder trim. The 108-3 has a taller vertical fin with a straight trailing edge rudder. It also features larger fuel tanks in the wings for longer range and a higher maximum takeoff weight.

The Stinson 108-3 is powered by a Franklin 6A4-165-B3 engine with a range of 594 miles. The cruise speed is 104 kts and the stall speed is 48 kts. The empty weight is 1,320 lbs and the gross weight is 2,400 lbs.
