    Beechcraft King Air 100 Series Aircraft Information

    Produced by Beech Aircraft Corporation, the Beechcraft King Air family is part of a line of twin-turboprop aircraft. The aircraft group consists of the Model 90, Model 100, Model 200, and Model 300. The 100 series has the capacity for 1-2 crew members and 13 passengers. The empty weight is 7092 lb (3212 kg) and the maximum takeoff weight is 11,800 lb (5352 kg). The maximum speed is 265 knots (307 mph, 492 km/h). The rate of climb is 2,140 ft/min (10.87 m/s).

    Variant models include the King Air 100, King Air A100, King Air B100, and A100-1. The King Air 100 is a stretched version of the King Air 90 Series featuring five cabin windows instead of the 90s three. The aircraft's maximum takeoff speed is increased by 1300 lb (590 kg). The 100 also features the wings, tail, and engines of the Model 99.

    The Model 100 was introduced in 1969. The 100 was superseded by the A100 in 1972. The A100 featured an increase in maximum takeoff weight to 11,500 lb (5220 kg), increased fuel capacity by 94 US gallons, and four-bladed propellers. Introduced in 1976, the B100 was equipped with 715 shp Garrett AiResearch TPE-331 engines and an increase in maximum takeoff weight to 11,800 lb (5350 kg). The Super King Air 200 was developed form the King Air 100.
